Scooby wannabe exhausts....

Id forgot about these until I heard one again yesterday. What is it with the Corsa owners who add the Scooby-sounding exhaust? Checklist for Corsa owners...


Your car does not have a flat-4 engine
In all likeliness, your Corsa will not have a turbo
People may look (thinking its a Scooby) only to think oh, just another modded Corsa.
It sounds a bit sad, imo....

hmm.. id like my 172 to sound like a mix of 172 and scoob, where do you get these exhausts what type are they ?

Nothing to do with exhausts meggerman, its all down to the boxer engine.

Ill have to stop the two Corsas Ive seen in Heywood and ask them for a sound clip....

to be fair I dont think it is the exhaust. Its usually the air filter that does it...really loud on corsas for some reason...

scooby noise is very unique, its the unequal length headers that cause it! fit equal length ones, and ull have more power but loose the noise!

personally i prefer the noise over a bit of extra power! my old scooby sounded sooooo nice! definately miss it for that!
