Honestly, WOW, just bought my own ph1 and the inspiration i've got from reading this is amazing. Such a good looking and clean car mate!

Shocked I'm saying this but I don't like the wheel at all! Not enough leather for me...

I thought this too, although I still do like the wheel. I think it would look better however if the leather and alcantara was reversed.

Cracking car though, a real credit to you.

Im sure the very early ph1 172 had alcantara steering wheels. Guy at my old work had one from new when they came out and I'm sure his wheel was alcantara

The press release car had a alcantara wheel and as i like things to be kept OEM it fitted the bill for me.

Today i removed the throttle pedal, gave it a going over with some 2500 and then polished it up.
I also gave the clutch pedal 2 coats of satin black, i wasn't able to fit the alloy cover as the rain came down. :unamused:

Please don't buy a Megane mate, please! I just can't describe how badly it's not the next car you should own.

For me they're just too expensive for what they are (with regards parts etc).

I think you're mental selling mate, but genuinely PM me with what you're looking for price wise... If there was ever one to tempt me back...

Brakes are about it of the top of my head

As you know i was in the process of buying 4 pots but as Hi-spec have taken so long, which in a funny way is a good thing now.

Ive been wanting something with boost for a while, so as the car won CSS and is perfect now i thought it might be a good time to sell it.
The list of "what will replace it" is.

Classic scooby, STI RA.
Classic scooby Type R, but im not sure if i want an old car.
Scoob bug eye STI JDM.
Meg F1 in UR or White.
Golf GTI ED30 don't think ill find one in my budget.
Seat Leon Cupra R 225, i found a lovely low miles red one.

I want something that i can clean, powder coat bits and mod but also that i can take my family out in.

Anything else i should be looking at???
