SD HC Cards

Bought a 4GB SD card, thinking it was just a SD card that my SD card reader would have no problem reading.

Turns out its a SD HC card, same size an shape as the normal SD cards but my laptop wont read it, nothing happenes, it doesnt even regester it as being there. Is there something I can do to solve this problem, Im sure it must read it some how?

Im running Windows Vista home premium. Laptop has a built in card reader.

Any help appreciated.

same here i had to buy a new reader - on my sandisk box in small small letters it said SDHC cards require an SDHC-compatible reader.

well, mine did come with another USB reader which does work, but I dont want to have to use that all the time! I bought the card to use in the card slot!

Should always read the small print!

Just thought there might be a way of getting it to work in the card reader already built in to my lappy!
