Seat belt warning light and beep

The drivers seat belt warning light and beep has randomly started to come on (then off then on etc...). I am wearing my seat belt at the time this happens, advice?

I stripped some of the rear interior today as it's going to be a track car, pherhaps I knocked something?!

Just cut the wire to the drivers buckle, I do it to every clio I own!
