Seat cable

My seat cable has snapped behind the lever, so the seat wont lift up to get into the back.

Went to Renault today for a quote and they said I need a new seat mechanism at £500.

Obviously I then walked out.

Just want to see if anyone has repaired theirs and where I could get the cable?

my friends has done this buying a new seat would be the cheaper option because you have to strip the whole seat down the get into the cable. unlucky!
