...wires under the bonnet?

what do you do if it falls off?

i took it back to the dealer and they put a screw in it to stop it falling off, but it came loose again after a month. It is supposed to stop theives from getting into the wires from under the bonnet.

Ill post picks tomorrow.

But ANY info on this would be much appreciated!

P.S. Has this happened to anyone else?

Large ty-wrap mate, wrap it right round and should hold the fooker in place!! ;)

good idea up until now i have used 2 layers of dux tape.

Doyle I know which bit you mean now. Funny you should bring this up. When I took my last clio, a dynamique for its first service they removed this. I duly noticed next time I opened the bonnet, (something I do whenever I collect my car from a renault dealer now) that they had "forgot" to replace it.

Spoke to them and they said they take them off when the cars go in for service cos they are a B*****d to get back on.

I immediately told his to put it back on and not to remove anything without my permission in future. lol

it was the first service at 18000 miles. He pushed it back on somehow. It still moved a bit but didnt lok as though it was going to come off.

well be careful it might jump off at 100mph down the motorwayand when u stop its sitting on top of the engine. :eek:

Bin it!!!!

it will only cut into the wiring loom eventually and cause a breakdown
