Sold my VR6 a couple of weeks back.

It was getting a little long in the tooth and was going to need some welding for the MOT. I got a LOT of interest in it, which shocked me. maybe I advertised it too low?

Anyway, after that had gone I decided to jump for this

Full M-Sport spec. Dark headliner, bumpers etc. Full leather and full BMWSH from new. Great for chucking everything in, and goes like a stabbed rat.

I could get used to this lazy auto style

Also, what are your mats like? I've a set of brand new (done 500miles) proper genuine mats I'm looking to get rid of.

I like it mate, the touring is so much cooler than saloon. I never got on with the auto boxes in these though, felt sloshy and slow, bit old school feeling. I want another DSG box so much. I hate changing gear! :(

They're not a bad box, they are slushy in drive, and the economy is pretty dire (I get only slightly less from my 550i) but put it in drive and it locks up and is as quick as any manual 330i

Standard box is good for just mooching in traffic. Still getting used to the semi-auto at the moment, but with DSC off, it's pretty brutal.

@philmots It's got a full set of aftermarket mats at the mo and they are in pretty good condition.

I can tell by the drive/service history that most of the miles have been motorway miles. Car still drives nice and tight.

I kinda want to play with the sound system though, as the OE equipment is dire. No coilovers or pissing witht he engine though,. Just some nice amped components. Maybe a sub. Maybe an alcanatara wheel too...... oh s**t, there is that slippery slope again

So, decided to give it an oil change, just to be on the safe side. Whilst I was there, I replaced both belts, aux tensioner, and waterpump (as it was standard BMW s**t with the plastic pully)

Also rang around the previous BMW garages where it had been serviced (as I only had the book) and they kindly sent me copy receipts for each service
