Selling Clio, advice

Hi everyone, am selling my fiancee's Clio for her

Its a 1.2 16V Dynamique 3door, 59k, FSH etc. Was asking £2795 ono... does this seem reasonable? I have it in autotrader/pistonheads/local rag, but not had any viewers yet (been on 9 days, lowered price from £2995 initially which was too much).

I can put a link to pistonheads so people can see condition, if that is allowed?

That seems quite low though? Got offered £2400 as a trade in (didnt take it as I didn't like the car they were offering).... and I'm sure he would of gone to £2500 if I'd pushed.

that seams a very reasonable price, and i wouldnt lower it anymore unless you want a really quick sale!!

Has it had the AUX and CAM belts changed??

Not as far as I know, shes only done 4k in about 12 months while shes owned it. Was just serviced, but they didn't do the belts.

its 6 years old mate, needs cam belts etc changed if u ask me but u could just sling it off with a buyer that no's nothing about clios. lol

To be honest, just trying to get it sold as we've got a deposit on the next car. If people start asking about belts etc i'll consider it, but would rather avoid!!

I'd agree there, would prob be worth more if the betls had been done as the cambelt is about £250 alone.

All the belts are done as one as such.

People seem to think its worth loads as it s anice spec and not to bad milage but its 6 years old. cars arn't worth much.

Trade in I recon £2k.

i had a 2001 51 reg crashed it and the insuramce paid me 2450 and im on a traders policy i was hopeing 2750 but naaaaaaaaaa and it was a very rought condition .i wouldnt go lower than 2700 its just that the market for cars is low wait til october tim,e when statistically most pple pass there test and are looking for that sort of thing or ebay it youll flog it straight away i got 2200 for a t reg with 88000m
