Selling stainless exhaust separate from car?

Considering selling my 182 later in 2010 and recently fitted a Janspeed supersport exhaust.

I doubt I'll have done many miles on the exhaust by the time I sell, so would it be worth taking it off and replacing it with a cheap standard exhaust come sale time? Would I end up making more cash at the end of the day?

That is what I'm thinking. I don't have the original exhaust as it fell apart hence getting the stainless, but I'd imagine picking up a cheap Renault exhaust and selling the Janspeed separately would get me some more cash.

If you can find one thats not rotten and can be welded back up, but i bet its more hassle than its worth.

A new Renault one is more expensive than you janspeed one

That is a much better idea. Have had loads of issues with it recently, but would still rather keep it! I'm only thinking of selling to go work overseas so can't take it with me unfortunately!

I was hoping for a half decent used Renault original. I paid £330ish for the Janspeed so would imagine that I could get £200ish for it lightly used then take off the cost of the Renault one and it'll give me money for a few pints if nothing else

Good look finding one, I replaced mine while the standard was good, it's all painted up with hamerite in my shed FTW.

yea could do
but i think theres so many clio sports for sale
that it may make it easier for u to sell wit the stainless exhaust
as its the first thing ppl do
due to the shoddy standard ones renault do
