Separate spings and shocks Vs H&R coilovers

  MKV Golf GTi (240bhp)
apart for the fact you cant change the ride height, could you get separate springs and shocks that could rival h and r's for performance, ride and handling?

wanted a cheaper option than 700 but dont really want to sacrifice handling if this is possilbe

any help would be great

thanks

eibach dampers or koni yellows with your choice of eibach pro or sportline springs i would imagine would give comparable handling

As per PM, it would be a stab in the dark really. You could best guess some quality springs and dampers but without driving various combinations you wouldnt know if you'd be getting similar results.

As mentioned lots on the forum the Koni/Sporline combo is the best VFM for a road set-up. I have this for sale soon (done 3/4k) as im going to go LEDA/Bilstein/KW very soon. PM if your interested.
