SERV light on 172

Hi,

Sometimes when I start my 172 up in the morning the Serv light comes on with another light (I think its the air bag light, its the one with the bloke in the seat with seatbelt on and a small circle in front). If I turn the car off then on again it goes away.

It doesnt always come on though, does anyone know whats wrong?

Pasenger seat wiring as above, make sure the ignition is off, disconnect and re-connect block connector and maybe even put a cable tie tight round it.

I normaly cut and solder the wires together to fix this problem.

Yes it is an airbag light.

Nowt to worry about mate, just a dodgy connection. I drove mine like it for months

its just a light that reminds you that youre driving a Renault... if everything worked then you would soon forget. Heh.

I checked under the seat and the wires were hanging out so I clipped it back in to the seat. That should sort it
