Setting up xbox live with a wireless bridge

having problems.....have got a netgear wireless router which works fine with my pc, bought a d-link wireless bridge and plugged it into the xbox, now when i go through xbox live troubleshooter it fails on the "IP address" bit....help!!!

i've checked that my router is set as a DHCP Server

if this is a 360 i would have personally bought the official wireless adapter knowing it works rather than buying a bridge.

i unfortunately can't help you as i have not set one of these up before.

or maybe try giving it a static IP?

Yeah I have the 360 wireless adapter - works great and looks neat and tidy! well worth splashing out the extra few quid if you ask me.

Same here, 360 adapter works great and had no problem setting it up for the WEP etc.

Dunno how you set it up to work with WEP etc when using a bog standard bridge like that?

is that just one of those wireless receivers that plugs in by usb to a pc or laptop?
