there was atleast 5/6 cars down the side of me parked up and all there magic tree's where shaking :p not bad for a single sub i must say.

Quite a beast.

Pictures of it fitted in the car possible?

sometime this week i guess.

i ran out of mdf for the baffle it was about 2" short :(

i'll get the wood chopped at Howarth timber during the week as my skill saw's blade's have had better days.

i used an old box tuned to abound 38 hz ( i think) does the job for now but not the best looking

all about performance i guess.

These things do get loud, but they sound poor, if Kicker sorted out the sound quality these subs would be great....

  Focus RS Mk1
these sure can boom , heard two of these in the back of a mental saxo but the qaulity i thought was piss poor. especially compared to my JLaudio 12" W6, two of!

good if your not too fussy about how it sounds but like the breeze of bass!

  RARE Unmolested Corsa sxi
Dude, if you put that in your clio, its gonna rattle the bolts out of it and it'll fall apart! lol.

  Focus RS Mk1
technically flawed in design to begin with...the corners will have stress points, they wont react as well either...cone will distort...etc etc!

hence why round is such a great shape :)

  Tangoed Works
In my old 1.2 i had a 15" Solobaric square with a directed 1200d running 1 ohm, aparently 1.1kw RMS. The thing f**king pounded ass and no one ever wanted to sit in the back lol.

this sub has just totally flexed every pannel in my car. all my doors have been flexing as well as my roof and my windscreen :p. i think i beter buy a 12" or a bigger car.

when your older your going to look back and laugh so hard. total waste of time and money.

i have to agree i just might do. i'm 24 now nearly 25 but atm i'm just having some fun because i'm not getting any younger :D

how much will a new screen set me back?

Its flexing you car as its not sound deadened at all. I still fail to see how it managed to brake your boot lock and crack your windscreen, what rms are you giving it?

i'm running it from an jbl GTO 1200.1 @ 1000rms @2ohm. my battery is dead so i think thats why my boot wont turn to lock. it's charging now.

also using autoleads 0/1 guage wiring kit .

Thats why you should always get stone chips repaired in the front screen....

Ain't no way 1k & 1 15" Kicker L7 going to burst a front screen without prior damage.....

A new windscreen should only cost you about £50-£70 ish on most insurance policies if your fully comp and it wion't affect your no claims. ;)

I was £65 for a replacement windscreen on my last car (2000 Polo Gti) a few years ago and i was Fully Comp with Tesco Insurance.

  Works...kind of...

Atleast you get something substantial out of it, unlike pissing £40-£50 up against a wall every weekend. ;)

I don't smoke, don't gamble, rarely drink, so for me this kind of stuff is a hobbie and I enjoy it. All horses for courses at the end of the day.

Cant deny that Kicker Solobaric's hit hard, but they're not the most musical drivers known to man. :rasp:

What size box is that? And what tuning?
