After a week off the rd with a bent subframe, then problems with wrong arms etc shes home....

Minus the antiroll bar!

Found 172 lower arms are like rocking horse s**t, so have had to put the slightly bent one back on until i get one, so the arb wont go on

Looks a riiiiiiiiight b*****d to get on too! Drives abit funny with no arb, but felt good to be back in her, after driving 1.25 Fiesta courtesy cars from work all week!

You could always just swop to a none RS wishbones and ARB bar.

I tried it with 1.2 wishbones, but they're shorter so it wasnt right?

The arb i got one the subframe is a different fitment to the RS one, so wouldn't fit the RS arms

1.2 are fine there the same arb is different cence you have to use a 1.2 etc ARB with the 1.2 etc wishbones.

£100 for two of them from Renault. If you cna get them at trad price there £50 for a set.

I could get them for about £30 each from a local factors, hardly rocking horse poo.

172 lower arms are easy to get iv ordered 6 in the last year they are £57 each with new ball joints i replaced a set last week - no pattern parts make 172 ones you must buy genuine

I fitted a 1.2 subframe to it with the 1.2 lower arms and arb, and it was toeing in 10, i ran out of thread! The arms were shorter than the 2.0 ones, hence it was pulling the wheel in

I swapped them with the origional 2.0 ones, and it was fine

Ive rang Renault, and they say tuesday now! I work for Ford, and if we need a part, we get it the next day, whats with all this waiting!

lol if you order from renault do it before 11am and get it stock order for next day you may get the parts cheaper, or if it after 11 get them to VOR it and it will be next day
