Shiny new play thing

I have this bad boy for the next few months to play with. Will use it in place of the 18-70mm D80 kit lens.

AF-S Nikkor 17-55mm f/2.8.

NO idea yet. I only dragged it home with me today. I havent yet taken a snap!

That's one sexy beast (and should be for £850!). Would love a fast standard zoom lens, I'm finding 50mm too long for many things.

Ditto.... I think that's what's prompted me to get a 10-20mm sigma.... 50mm (x1.6 of course) is a bit tooo long some of the time..... an often I can't move back far enough! Would love a 24mm f/1.4L USM lol

That and the fact I've convinced myself that the canon kit lens is the devil himself. lol.
