Shock absorber gubbed???

Was reversing out of a parking space 2day and there was a wee kurb I had to bump down, but im only talking about 4cm or 5cm but when I went off it there was a "clunk" noise and now everytime the suspension moves there is a banging noise.

I guessing the shockey has gone and the banging is something hitting the underside of the car due to having no pressure?

Suggestions?

Check the bottom ball joint etc and bushes for damage/wear.
