Shopping list for FCS

Well its not far away and theres a few bit i need before the french car show. Is anyone else in a simlar predicament?

So far we have front springs (not sure which yet)

Front/rear adjustable dampers.

Also a few hours on preping stone chips! Possibly a quick wheel re-furb depending on time and cashflow!

Er...

Ive got to fit Yozzasport-supplied discs, pads and brakelines, get some Forte top-end treatment, maybe get a small rust area sprayed and hopefully get myself a set of Willy wheels refurbished and fitted.

Also need to sort some stickers out!

My List about a month ago was:I

Sideskirts (Ordered Yesterday!)
New Mirrors (Sitting In My Garage Waiting For Spray)
New Exhaust (Fitted)
New Wheels Maybe (White Multispokes)
New NS under sill cos the old ones rusty (Also In My Garage Ready For Spray and Fitting)
Not too far away now and the list is getting shorter so should all be done before hopefully!
Stickers too but definately in progress!!

i cant come as im doin uni exams but if i was then id be getting a gloss black wheel furb,rust sorted, black angel eyes and black lexus lites

Fit new amp (came this morning)

Fit aerial and single wiper

New gearknob

New car mats

Get a couple of bits touched up

& some sportzblue 100w bulbs for my angel eyes

Then clean and wax it like I never done before so it looks nice and shiny and drive the 150miles down to FCS and get it filthy again lol!

and hopefully if my golf goes itll go to plan:-

Buy a valver

Deck it on some Spax adjustbles

Buy some 16s - Turrinis or Chronos

Custom exhaust and decat

Have you had a valver on the spax before Tom? If so what are they like as ive been looking at them!

Oh and buy some big brakes. Ill have lots of free cash tonight hopefully! Got someone looking at the golf at 5.

Might even be a 2.0l valver if MatBs aint sold. As long as it lives up to my old beast (Pics in member profile)

Pretty Much! The heaters are certainly far better than my valver, oh and the sunroof doesnt leak either! lol

Pretty Much! The heaters are certainly far better than my valver, oh and the sunroof doesnt leak either! lol

You shouldve kept the valver, it was one of the tidiest on here IMO!

You shouldve kept the valver, it was one of the tidiest on here IMO!

Oh well if the golf goes tonight itll be project valver again! Should be fun!

Fit new tyres.

Strip out some interior.

yeah mine is;

Get sunroof fixed, so the gaffer tape can come off!
get roof sprayed.
Get boot smoothed.
buy black angel eyes.
buy chrome cold air feed.
get custom centre dials done, and remove centre vents for more dials.
Fit smocked side repeaters that are sitting in the garage!
be very skint, and not spend anymore on the car for a long time again!!!

I seem to have loads to do!!

Fit my 285mm disks.
New exhaust centre section.
New car mats.
Rocker cover and a few bits sprayed.
Rear leather bench and driver side bolster retrimmed.

2.0 engine conversion (being done now)
valver spoiler (needs to be fitted)
valver front brake setup including brembo discs (needs to be fitted)
red calipers (needs to be fitted)
valver front wings (needs to be sprayed and fitted)
willy front bumper (needs to be sprayed and fitted)
valver bonnet (done)
coilovers

1.8 Turbo Conversion (Being Done By Me)
- New Clutch, Cambelt kit, Oil, Gearbox oil, various sensors (all purchased, just need fitting)
New front shocks (Not ordered yet)
Williams Brake setup (To be fitted)
New Tyres (Not even got the cash to get them yet lol)
R5 GTT Dials (Not purchased yet)

Its a learning process lol, i didnt have a clue how to do any of it... main factor is money, i couldnt afford for anyone else to do it for me, so a case of me doing it myself lol

shopping list:
- get stone chips sprayed/touched up
- get seats recliner handels fixed cos only picked car up last wed from renault and handles are broken on both seats.!!!
- fit 17" wolfrace voodoos from old clio
- lower 40mm on coilovers (depending on ££ might have to settle for springs)
- fit mk2 ph2 rear lights(in bedroom waiting to fit)
- colour code rub strips, and door handles.
thats quite a bit but all dependant on cashflow....!?
