Shot aux tensioner

One of the idlers has a crack in it :s lucky I'm putting on a new kit!

Just wanted to know about the tensioner spring and how to tell if it's knackered? As the old engine had a reused one on it and it looks like the belt was rubbing

if you use a proper kit it's all included. The spring isn't ever an issue
