Should be picking up a 182 this weekend!!

I ve just put a deposit on a 182 FF,67k,4 previous owners,HPI clear, good condition with full service history on a 53 plate 5 months tax but only about 2 months MOT -£2800
It s cheap due to a couple of things - short MOT needs two tyres and no cambelt proof! so i thought it was a reasonable price all things considered!

Thats the first thing i thought,it s registered 17th feb 2004 and both log book and hpi check specify Clio 182!

Yeah the very early ones were 53 reg'd...Top gear used a 53 plate for their review when they first came out

looks a nice example,i ve got a fair old trip to fetch it but i thought it was well priced for the condition and mileage. As long as i don t have trouble putting it through an MOT ill be happy with it!

Personally would of wanted it put through its MOT, or at least looked up the MOT history, bit risky imo.

I imagine you have it in your hands by now. How you finding it?

Yeah i ve got the car and the guy just hadn t read through the service history properly as they were done and all stamped in the book!
Bonus for me- i did have a oil pressure light on but seems to be a sensor as i ve changed it and no light at the minute!
It s in very good condition needed two front tyres which i new about and did them today but all seems ok so far

Just put it through an mot,all it needed was a rear shock as there was a slight leak and the exhaust needs adjusting as there was a slight leak inbetween one of the joins so all in the car has cost me pretty much exactly £3k to get it all fine with the new mot so not to bad really

About right.... for a very early 182- as long as it has the cup packs...

Yeah both cup packs in black now on 68k all serviced up to date and in very good condition and now through it s mot i m happy with it!
