Slash/cut is where it's at then mate

Even if they're flush with the bumper, they still stick out when they get warm because the metal expands a bit. That's how mine is - flush when cold, sticks out about 1-2cm when hot.
I'll post pics tomorrow if I remember.

I love the stealth look, one of the reasons i prefer the 172 over the 182.

I'd stick with the recessed, stealth to me makes it look/sound like the car has a standard exhaust that's shagged.
