Got the old girl out from the cover the other day. On the bright side it's insured now and can't wait to drive her after 2.5 years and then off to the quacks for some fine tuning [emoji123]

Car looks great  what cage did you go for? I keep looking at them and stripping out the rear as you have but can't decide at the minute  you won't be disappointed with the PMS when it arrives I'm sure, be good to see it on the 1.2's as well!View attachment 1361078 View attachment 1361079 View attachment 1361080 View attachment 1361081 Moved it, cleaned it, put it back. Anthracite Pro Race 1.2’s going on tomorrow and then the PMS shifter once the group buys goes through. Really need to put some miles on it then, it’s done less than 75 miles since November!
It’s just a £200 Alan Dent cage (alachi on eBay). I’m really pleased with it, got it powder coated graphite (£40) and was a piece of cake to fit. Really looking forward to getting the PMS shifter, keep hearing great things about it.Car looks great  what cage did you go for? I fitted the 1.2’s today, and while they look nice I miss the Turinis already. The 1.2’s are going to be for track and I’m getting the Turinis stripped and refurbished so I can have them back on for the road. Lack of 1.2 on pics as I forgot once I’d pulled out of the workshop.
It’s all original matey, it needs a full machine polish really when I get time. It had a snow foam yesterday followed by a wash and then just a quick spray and wipe over with some autoglym aquawaxLooks good mate, what wax do you use or has it had a respray?,as looks pretty nice`n`shiny
Fitting kit is £20 extra (comes with four spreader plates and all the nuts and bolts you need). Was really easy to fit, you have to take the front seats out but I replaced these at the same time anyway so wasn’t an issue. I used a ratchet strap to pull the two sides of the cage together ever so slightly then once in place released the strap, drilled the holes then bolted it up. I undersealed where the plates fit under the car/arch to keep them looking good, oh I also painted the spreader plates that fit under the car/arch before fitting them.Turini's do look great especially for road, I do think the 1.2's are great for track though so best of both world's hopefully  Did you fit the cage yourself? Did it come with all the fixtures and fittings? I keep looking at the Safety Devices cages and then spoke to someone about making one as well, I do think I will end up doing it just have to decide what to do first
Did you get it powder coated or is that something he organised? I now have one in my watch list 😂Fitting kit is £20 extra (comes with four spreader plates and all the nuts and bolts you need). Yeah I got it powder coated it arrived bare metal as per pic. If you ring Alan (think his number is on eBay) tell him you’re a Cliosport member and he’ll do it a bit cheaper than eBay buy it now eBay price.Did you get it powder coated or is that something he organised?
