Shudders & Flashing Engine light? 182

Basically in any gear on the way home from about 2-4k revs, when i accelerated it was like shudders, and the engine light flashed for about 30 seconds? Any ideas, thanksss

Sounds like it's missing, try plugs/leads/coilpack. The lambda will be bringing the light on

Thanks, it also smelt of burning and a loss in power?

Yeah it will lose power cause the fueling will be wrong
