Side strips rattling with bass - how to stop?

  RenaultSport clio 172 mk2
Basically the side strips of my 172 rattle like f**k when my subs are on and sound completely cack to be honist.

Has anyone done anything about this. Do you know if these pull of easily so i can then phisically glue them back onto the car to stop this or any other way of doing it. Im not sure if they just pull off or if they are attached properly already. Its only the ones underneeth the back window which are causing the problem.

Any ideas?

they slide off mate. open the front door and slide the trim towards the front of the car..be carefull how you bond em on though.. numberplate stickers probably your best bet

Turn Bass down? :S

And stop sitting in retail parks all night with them flat out ;)

If your side strips are doing it you might want to check the number plates too. Take the thrims off and get some teflon or felt tape and run it along the side that's touching the door. That should be enough to stop it vibrating, wont be visible when the trim is on and wont cause problems if you need the trims off again.

Yeh u can get the clips from renault for like 30p a clip or summat.

Take em off, get some sound deadening under them and then silicon them back on, they wont rattle at all then. thats what i did with mine an it works perfect
