Sigma lens question

I see the Sigma 17-35mm f2.8-4 is a great lens for a full frame

What's the difference between the Aspherical version of this lens and the EX DG?


Guessing one suits full frame and the other doesn't, or something completely different? :S

EX is to show that it's a better quality lens. You get a lens case, hood etc As standard.

Have a lend of the Aspherical version at the moment - but the other will fit my Lee adapter ring

I have the 17-35L, its a good lens however can be very soft when at 17mm.

I've had to get mine replaced twice because of this issue - I guess it's just a standard problem as all 3 units had the same problem!

Hope that's a Canon issue, seeing as I'm rocking a Sigma lens on a Nikon
