Signature/water mark question

If I want to upload a load of photos to a site, but want to put a signature at the bottom of the image, do I have to edit each photo seperately, adding the signature each time, or is there a program that can do it to a host of images at the same time?

Oh, and free preferably.

Photoshop - But that means opening each image and doing it seperately yeah.

Im hoping there is a program where you can like set default postioning, import a load of images and then bam. done.

ill ask someone with a bit more photoshop knowledge. im not too bad on fireworks (for site designs) but i cant say ive dabbled much on photoshop.

I use photomechanic (camerabits)

awesome piece of software for archiving, batch processing/resizing, file info, watermarks, etc etc

most pro phots use it.

I use Adobe Photoshop.

You need to record an "Action" which can then be used during batch processing.
