Silver 2.0 badges with black writing ? ?

I was thinking of painting the numbers of my 2.0 litre door badges black and leaving the backs of them silver to go with the car.

What do you guys think ?

Would it look god or bad ?

As i can't think of any other colours to paint them on a Iceberg Silver 172 :S

I'm in same situation. Although I think i may go iceberg back and anthracite lettering. wont look as harsh imo

I was going to do this but that looks good cause it has anthracite wheels aswell. just my opinion.

And would i need to sand down in between primer, paint, lacquer etc etc ?

And does anyone know how many coats of each ?
