Silvervisions nearly killed me!!!

Has anyone else had a problem with silvervision bulbs i bought 2 sets, some for my side repeaters wich have been fine but the ones for my headlights jst arent brite enough. Nearly got crushed by a lorry at a roundabout 2day!!

My silver visions are really bright, i was really impressed with them over the standard bulbs, maybe youve got duds or faulty wiring?

Mine are fine, they always light up the road signs when I use mine.

now, did you buy Silvatech or Phillips silvervision. One of them is better than the other. not sure which ones i have. Theyre really good though.

there was a news story a few weeks ago that some of the silvervisions around are really poor and can be dangerous

What make are they mate? As some people said, there are loads of cheap dangerous ones around, i bought the k-tec ones, they are really good quality and well worth payin the extra few quid

Agreed. My K-TEC ones are fine, but my mate bought some other crappy brand and you can hardly see em in day light, they are sh*t basically.

My silvervision indecator bulbs are pretty bright. Brighter than the two boild eggs that come with the car!

dont know why ppl put there lights on in the day time, u always see it and think WHY whats the point

I have silvervisions on my MKII 172 and had no problems with them at all.

I have a pair of OSRAM Silver Stars in mine and they are superb. Alot better than standard and a much whiter light. £27.95 the pair.

I got mine for 3.99 a pair.I must admit the orange glow they give off is not as bright as the originals but it lookks nicer.more of an orangey/reddy colour than orange.

i got mine cos of my lexus lights, didnt look that good havin white n red sections then havin an orange section lol.
