Don't like Fanatec. But you are right, makes sense and get a formula wheel with it for half the price of a new wheel base
Took your advice, 8nm and chucked the shifter in as well from Fanatec.
Soon as I placed the order I got an email from customer service which was a nice touch "We knew you'd be back you silly t**t"

Ordered from Abruzzi, thought it was a bit odd this morning when the RM Delivery Office was Medway Village which is over 100 miles away when I checked.
Apparently been delivered and left in my safe place at 6pm.
So do I contact Abruzzi on Monday or Royal Mail?

Won’t take my postcode when I try to check the proof of delivery, so maybe wrong tracking number

I'd be hoping they've mixed the tracking up at Abruzzi.
Royal mail can incorrectly route a parcel quite easily, but it tends to get caught, as the post 'person' will spot it at the very least, so I'd say what's been delivered was physically addressed there on the label.
Local misdeliveries are a bit different, but to be routed so far away and then subsequently delivered seems a long shot.
Here's one I sent back to a shop recently, 24 miles away in Northampton.
It took 4 days to turn up in Wales. 😂 But got caught and sent back.

Clutch arrived.
Taken about 6 hours in total to get everything pulled apart, drilled a few holes in the Moza handbrake to mount it to the side of the Fanatec shifter and fitted the clutch this evening.
Only had 30 minutes before I had to go to work so stuck on Hroizon 5 to havea play with the manual gears. It is a whole different world, no chance my brain can compute driving at speed with a manual H pattern and figure it all out. Going to take some practice.
Will have plenty of questions for people on technique.

Picked up a set of Thrustmaster Tlcm pedals locally off FB marketplace over the weekend, bit of a bargain at £60.
Although the times suggest otherwise, I'm really struggling to get comfortable with a load cell pedal after many years without!
Also mulling over upgrading the base to the new Thrustmaster t598. Reviews of the actual base seem quite positive, but I'm seeing a lot of issues with damaged power cables / power bricks which is putting me off. Ideally I'd move to Fanatec, but I've got a selection of Thrustmaster wheels, handbrake and now the Tlcm pedals so financially it wouldn't make sense.

Will be upgrading soon as I've taken the plunge on the Thrustmaster DD t598 on the prime day price of £379. Also ordered the Ferrari 488gt3 wheel from Thrustmaster. I've already got loadcell TLCM pedals so won't be using the race lines the t598 comes with.
Wouldve lover to have gone for the new Logitech RS50 or Fanatec but for what I want, I'd be looking at best part of £1k and I can't justify the cost.
Probably look at shifting my T300 now. Prob sell it with 2 wheels, old Ferrari F1 wheel and Ferrari 599x Evo.

I want to try NASCAR 25 but I don’t want to move the Series X from the living room to office every time I play it.
There is no advantage to have a PC and xBox hooked up to the rig is there? Apart from nascar there isn’t anything else Xbox will give me over a PC?
Only other option is PS5 new wheelbase and GT7+nascar?

Yeah they all use an NRG style quick release. I have the ES wheel as well (same wheel just without the x-box branding), and a 13in chinese carbon rim.
Not sure about compatability with non Moza wheels but tbh I think between the ES and a KS wheel there’s no real need for anything else.
12nm feels like plenty enough for me though, 21 would just about rip your fuckin arms off.

^that’s the R21 V2, be reet.
R12 would be perfect really but but for some reason I can only see the R3, R5, R9 and R21 on Currys.
Ideally, I could get the R12 and a formula wheel and buy the GS V2P myself.
Anyone also know the going rate for the Fanatec CSL DD, V2 wheel and CSL pedals with the boost kit? I don't understand eBay as it just has prices people have it listed for not any bids or anything.
I'm guessing not a lot as the non boost version is only 400 euros brand new now.
