Jokes !

"The gear knob has also been replaced due to scratchs on the orginal from previous owners at a cost of £400 just shows how much care has been given to this car. "

Also how can it be clear when you buy it ? but when you come to sell it it's a cat D ?? So what he's saying is it was clear & they smashed it ??

Also, see how mashed the steering wheel is & why do they need a fire extinguisher in it ?

think it was general total cost for all the repairs  (it better be....lol)

Maintained regardless of cost we have just had the front bumper professionally resprayed due to stone chips so its stone chipped free. The wheels just had the wheels powder coated black with new tyres and centre caps so they are as new condition! The gear knob has also been replaced due to scratchs on the orginal from previous owners at a cost of £400 just shows how much care has been given to this car.

not cheap for a CAT D IMHO. But not only is it a CAT D, its a non-std CAT D which has been arsed with and that in my book makes it worth even less.

I'm not keen on the black wheels but I'm sure another vee owner would consider a swap and at some point I'd buy a new steering wheel and play golf with that gearknob and get an origional. Apart from that I think it is good value. Cat C / D wouldn't bother me too much so long as it's been fixed to a high standard and drives well. For £8k I'd be all over / under it to make sure.

If I was buying privately I'd have a HPi so I know if there is any outstanding finance, saying that I've never HPi'd any of my previous cars because they were from dealers so I thought what's the point if they look / drive well and have a full service history.

I think a system could be introduced where HPi checks are free or you text the plate and all it costs is the price of a text plus a very small fee. This sort of info shouldnt cost people money to get hold of.
