I have cancelled Sky! After yet more messing around - “we have tried to call you“…. bloody liars - I phoned them again and this time got offered WhatsApp as a contact method. Why you can’t use live chat but can now use WhatsApp, who knows 😂

Anyway, it was genuinely easy to cancel that way. Job done. Now torn between a VPN plus F1 TV Pro or an iptv service. Anyone got any recommendations?

I went down the VPN route last year and it worked fine for a couple of races until F1 blocked a load of IP ranges. Not sure if the situation has changed but there's scope for them to just pull the rug from under you regardless.

Yeah they seem to do that fairly regularly. Wish they’d just grow some balls and go fully streaming but hey ho I guess Sky pay them a lot to lock brits out of the service.

Sky are getting blown out & countdown starts at weekend.

Got full fibre being installed locally so that Sky 68 meg that’s always dropping out, but sir it’s fine on our systems, well your system's suck!

Our Sky has just come out of contract, so time to have the talk again.

Are there any alternatives to Sky in a non-cable area?

I cancelled Sky, after 23 years with them. Now use a fire stick, and will never go back to Sky. Living in a remote location, I also use starling, its expensive, but it works.
