Sky Installation Times

Well was speaking to my Dad about how cheap Sky Broadband is but that it is not avilable in our area and he said well thats good coz I'm cancelling the Sky as your the only one that watches it! Hes got the top package tho and I cant afford to pay it!

So im getting my own installed in my room, just the £21 package. Just wondering how long do you think they would take to come out and install it as I cant find it on their website.

why dont you just reroot the cable to your room and steal their box as they wont be needing it . iirc you could take over the payments and not be locked into a contract for 12mths

next day installation, why not just get freeview if your getting the basic package?

So just phone them up and say we only want the £21 package and put the box in my room and thats the end of it?

I will be getting every sky channel apart from Sky Sports 1, 2 & 3 and all the movie channels so theres a lot more than freeview

I called up the other day to get an engineer out to repair the system.

I was quoted "in the morning" I asked what time they said between 1 and 7

what part of the morning is that I wondered.. 1am and 7am??

"Oh thats just whats on the system"

Muppets... After being told between 1 and 7 I'm expected them about 10:30am

sky piss me off, we been with them for 6 1/2 years , always paid £30 a month odd to them, phoned them to say our sky box was buggered and could we have a new 1 - and they wana charge us £61 - obviously were not valued customers!
