I think the sky satellites are in a geostationary orbit and you may not have line of site to one in the carribean.
could you not get one of those slingbox thingies, rent a shithole in the uk, get a sky subscription there fit the slingbox and have it streamed over the net...lol.....
I remember watching a documentry on TV a few years ago, they used a number of satellites to bounce the signal off so they could recieve it in there spaceships on the other side of the planet. I think it was called independance day or something. Had a nice fella in it called William.
Not a chance in hell! Just where would you expect to plug the cable box into? a palm tree or a dolphin? No matter the size of your dish you can never get Astra 28 degrees east from the Caribbean. U can get the American Dish network EchoStar (the US equivalent of BSKYB). http://www.dishnetwork.com/
so "if" i had his sky gear setup round my house (in the uk) a "slingbox" (whatever that is) would send the signal over the interweb to his gaff in the carribean?
