Slammed mk1

well, got my car just about 2 week ago now... finally got round to lowering it yesterday (-60mm apex) .... all the hard work done by biffons bridge (see pic) and i pranced around acting like i knew what to do lol

Shocking the size difference of the uncompressed springs against each other





Biff hard at work fitting some new dics and pads!



Fooked pads



Winded down the tosion bar about 60-70mm



Finally lowered with and feels alot better now, talk about feedback through the wheel, can feel every fookin bump... lol!



there she is, i have also sprayed the steelies black for now until my Renny5GT rims come and the shocs on the back seem to have lowered a touch and bedded in more, even fookin lower and no rubbing yet!

well, it depends tim lad, i want to get all the other bits and bobs sorted first like, needs a new auxillary belt, dogbone mount and new green/itg panel filter.... after that i can then get wheels and zaust etc

it is holding out strong though, it feels much more stable and tight with the new brakes and suspension

i got 60mm lowering springs from ktec at home waitin 2 get fitted, im goin as low as bradus at the rear the lower the better lol the only prob is im banned for a lil while 6 points in 1st year of drivin waiting for drivin lincse 2 cum bk and find out how much damage i have done 2 drivin career

lol... cant beat it being lower, ben, i didnt half t**t the speed bump coming in to work before, very loud clunk, going to get my dogbone mount and auxy belt sorted, going to order them now. also get the brakes bled and that dodgy indicator sorted

are they just standard brakes u put on there then or uprated ones

im thinking about puttin 16v discs and calipers on mine, are the 16v discs bigger then standard 1.2 clio (MK1 clio n 16v)

they are just standard mate...
i dont see the point of putting better/bigger brakes on unless you are planning to make to car alot faster
