slamming the 172

  172
im going to slam my 172 and im prob gonna get coilovers so i was wondering how its done. ive noticed when i look threw the back wheel theres a spring thats not on the the shocks. is this the torsoin bar or sumin and should it be uprated aswell. and if its not really a job for an amature is there and garages in the crawley area that would do it.

thanks

It's a seperate spring and damper setup on the rear, when you buy coilovers you'll get a new spring and depending on the brand these may be adjustable in height

I've got a set of Gaz ones in the house, cost me less than £500 but can't give you a review of the performance as they're not fitted yet

I'm sure that there is a new set being developed by a company which have a damper and spring together and not seperate!
