Was hard to get an ok mileage R26 for sub 10k, however based on the below, the market is either crashed or this guy is just desparate?

i sold my old 06 plate about a year and half ago with 60k on for 8k , had r26r spoiler , roll cage , carbon bonnet , almost looked like a red r26r ;) , i always seem to sell my cars stupidly cheap though , even had r20 sjx on the plate

We had one in stock for 6weeks and sold it last week for 10k. Hard work though.

Although people seem to be buying on here, in general there market seems to have tightened for them!

it was always going to happen with the new RS250 coming out... bad for people selling, good for buyers ;)

Cant believe the vfm factor in these now. Fling £3k at ones for engine, braking and suspension mods and youll have 280bhp, 320lbft. Not bad for around 10-11k of expense.

hmm sweeping generalisation there.

On the flipside you showed interested in a 145k seat ibiza on an 07 reg, so surely applying this new found logic, its going to cost a 'bomb' to run.

Interesting.

You tit, running a diesel Seat that's only done motorway miles is VASTLY (emphasis there) different from running a performance Renault.

Oh im a tit now, cause clearly the transmission on a 3 year old 24k mile car is going to be far worse than a 3 year old 145k mile car.(6 times the miles?!)
Purely looking at usage and mechanical wear on gearbox, suspension, block and drivetrain, i think its more than legitimate to say that the 145k mile car is bound to have suffered more wear.
Diesel or not its spent alot more time on the road and suffered as a consequence.

Who's to say the R26 hasnt spent 85% of its life on the motorway?

As I say, sweeping generalisation.

Renaults arent that great in terms of build quality, but stating that 'everything' will go wrong, because its over 3 years old, is a bit fair fetched.
