Slight annoyances...

Ok so I've had my car about 4 weeks now and I've started noticing things about it that are annoying me. Don't get me wrong, I love the car but it seems these things shouldn't be present on a car thats 2 years old...

1) The clutch seems to 'stick' ever so slightly when I bring it back up, and when pushing it down it makes a small creak noise

2) Headlights don't seem to shine very far, had a thread about this but received no replies...

3) Drivers side of the car seems to creak slightly a couple of times a bit after taking a sharp corner to the right, possibly the window?

4) Gear stick moves when pressing and releasing accelerator, is this normal or should it be still?

My car is an 06 plate and is still within manufacturers warranty so if I was to get it booked in would these things be covered by the warranty if problems were found?

my gearstick moves with the accelerator. i think its normal with the engine moving while accelerating

My gearstick moved on my mk1 and moves on my mk2 every time I press on the acceleration, like a back and forth moving, think its normal.

Thanks for the replies, I thought the gear stick might be a usual thing as my mk2 did it, but it was a lot worse in that

Any ideas on the others?

Sounds like the clutch cable. Only gets worse in the summer, should be ok in the winter. Either way you can get it replaced, but i believe this is a wear and tear item, so might not be free under warranty.

They are auto adjusting, however you can raise them manually with the dial behind the headlight, its white in color

get used to it. Creaks and rattles are renaults trait, if its bothering you that much take it back but dont get excited, as it might be hard to find the cause.

again this is absolutley normal as others have said.

Thanks for that reply, a lot of help! I thought it may be usual Renault related stuff but I just wanted to get some opinions.

Regarding the headlights, I should have mentioned I tried adjusting them manually from inside but they are already on the longest distance they will go, yet they still seem half the distance of other cars on the road. Think I might get them to have a look at it

Yea sorry I meant with the level adjuster at the side of the steering wheel on the dash, I'll have a look for the adjuster on the light unit though when it finally stops raining, cheers bud!
