Snapped key?

Hi, somehow managed to snap the end of my key, therefore i am using my spare as my only key. Any idea how much a replacment is or any other info?

if it's key without immobilizer/remote central type , cheap .

if it is the above you looking at 50 notes plus , buy one of ebay , then you need to get it cut then you need to get it programmed to the car .

crap thats expensive, it the key with the remote locking.

Is there any way i can just get a new key cut and fitted into the existing remote?

Yes - If you just snapped the metal, & managed to get it out of the barrel, just pull the leftover out the remote, then order a new key BLADE from Renault, they'll need your details, VIN etc. Takes 10 days.

You don't need a new transponder if you've only snapped the blade.

Can't you get the actual key made up by any good keymaker?

the blades are about a £5 think mine was £7 fully cut
