My 1.2 has now been sold but unfortunately they couldn't pick it up yesterday as I was sold the wrong cat for it! The overall shape is identical but the flange on the manifold end is different (it sits flush whereas the one that's on the car (buggered) sits inside the manifold (donut?)).
Few options;
- See what else ECP have in stock that might fit (They say this is the one).
- Try GSF and CAF, etc... probably more money.
- Go to a scrappy an hour away and hope that they have the same one (they want the same price as the one from ECP!).
- Cut off the current flange and weld it onto the new cat.
Ideally this needs to be sorted today as they want to collect it this afternoon.
