Solid? Hmm... doubtful
Uprated items can be bought from K-Tec... but they're harsh. Vibrating dashboards etc
Have you adjusted the dogbone?
David, can you put some pictures of the mounts not fitted on your website? and pic of the other mount?
Cheers
Iv got the lower powerflex one fitted and had no problems over 10k of use including track time and ring laps.
grp n engine mounts are still on yozza's website - http://www.yozzasport.co.uk/proddet...port_ph2_172_group_n_engine_mount_kit&cat=202
grr how many people have actually had first hand experience of the ktec mounts ? not many i bet - sheep
Details are here http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=2655&pic=2
We fitted a set to one of the Clio turbos we have done and even with the torque that produces they have reduced the engine movement drastically.
David.
I have. Not one of the mentioned issues was apparent to me
Thanks, ive got one on order, every person who has one really rates them, seems everyone who hasn't doesnt - Sheeeep
Just fit full new oem engine mounts it will drive like a new car without the banging
My old Ph1 used to have "uprated" mounts before i changed them for OE.
When slipping the clutch to move in traffic it used to vibrate the dash/control surfaces. :S
We have only had them available for the past few weeks and we have not sold any yet as our first batch is due in at the end of next week.
The mounts you had on your ph1 were obvioulsy not ours.
David.

afraid not.. i have experienced that the knocking (only when wheelspin !) does'nt go away with new mounts all round !
^ Icarus, have you part numbers/prices for the Kangoo mounts?
I've got a full set of Diesel Kangoo Van mounts to go on my Cup project which are a good bit stiffer by all accounts to deal with the torque/weight of the diesel lump.
Also fitting a polybushed dog bone, however will be helicoiling the gearbox mounting point and using a couple of grades higher bolt to be on the safe side.
Hoping that lot ought to see things pretty sorted.
Cheers
M
That's a good find there ! Would they (Kangoo mounts) be a straight swap or is modifying needed ?
