I just got new discs and pads, green stuff pads and black diamond discs, grooved ones.
Im not really bothered about the pads wearing out faster as is not much for a set of pads. I found braking imporved massivley over the standard rsi brakes. U stick your foot down (on the brakes) and where I would normally get the point where the brakes dont stop you any faster for how much you push the pedal I now find I just keep pressing the brakes and I top more quickly. Does that make any sense at all?!?!?!
Anyway, just after I changed them, after they were worn in, I was comming off a slip road and onto a round-a-bout and the lights went red. Stuck my foot on the brakes and was rather suprised, practicly had to peel my face off the wind sheild and had stopped a good few feet before the line! i was well pleased.
