Solid red light

Hi guys, I posted in another section. Maybe it was wrong spot? Anyway it's my first post and first Clio, it has a solid red light for immobiliser but runs fine, I'd like to work out what it is, any clues?

solid red when starting is normal, or is it staying on even after starting?

there's quite a few threads on this issue on the forums , i replied last week to a similar thread. see forum post below which explains the red light, in short it's an electrical fault in the system somewhere

I've read many posts but most are non starting which is why I'm a but baffled as this runs fine, I will have a look through the link you sent though thanks heaps for replying

i think the same logic applies with the solid red dot. the electrical fault that other people were experiencing resolved in their car being a non starter, or sometimes starting and sometimes not, but your electrical fault is not as serious and therefore not affecting the starting and running of the car. bringing it to an auto electrician with "clip" they can do a full scan of all the modules which should return a fault communicating with one of the systems which will be your culprit.
