Some audio questions

Whats that cable called? Ill try to describe it:

One side is 2 plugs, one white.. one red. This would go into headunit. Other side is a 3.5mm male plug to plug into ipod. <------ thats alls used so i can plug ipod in through aux.

Also,

Do i need to buy one of those surrounds so an aftermarket stereo would fit in the space?

You need to get a upgraded stereo that has an "AUX Input" . then the red and yellow connect into it and the male bit connects to the ipod

The lead is RCA-3.5 stereo male.

You don't need a surround, the Clio's standard DIN size.
