got a few pics today at the rs trackday @ brands. did'nt take too many as i was midges passanger most of the day and when i was standing around the weather was shite here goes....

yeah midge came off a few times, 5 to be exact lol:star: . after the 4th time he was taken out with a marshall who told him one more spin off and its home time. was bound to happen due to weather so off home we went at 2:30.....

yeh i was out on track all day, wernt to fussed by the rain still went out! drove the new clio r27 aswell

yep, my car was terrible in the wet, was flying in the dry though, tyre problems mixed with VERY hard suspension and of course inexperience, you can see the problem with my tyre here -

This was the passanger front, toyo's are pants in the rain, f1's are bein bought.

EDIT - didnt send me home but said no more track, which i spose is fair enough, when he came and told me i was packing up anyway, just wasnt happening! hope theres some pics of mine in the dry, was realy impressed with it.

My Girlfriend made friends with mr Fish and he said that the car was very quick, but also went into detail with her about the diffrent setups you need for the wet e.t.c, she's quite clued up and took it all in, she was also taken out in the cup car they have and came back with a MASSIVE smile.

Yeah, shame for the drivers, but it made for excellent pics with all the spray.

Did it dry out towards the end? At about 11am the track started drying and the Clio's were beginning to tripod at Druids, but then it started raining again! I left at 3:30 as I wanted to get home at a reasonable hour.

Would have loved to been photographing on a dry day, so many opportunities at that circuit.

Cheers for those pictures Dunc. That was me in the Williams with the blue speedlines tripoding at the end there. That was the last 30mins of the day when it was nice and dry... There you can see me and the French guy with the 197 going at it for quite a few laps! Probably the best fun I had all day right at the end there. No racing

great pics - none of mine on track though still you managed to get one of that bloody red french 197 who wouldn't move out of the way, had to do him into druids - was suprised I wasn't collered for it.....

plus Midge, you've got tons of tread on those compared to mine - i had mm on them at the end of they day - understeering and aquaplaning for fun.

The rain didn't spoil the day at all imo - made it very very entertaining and I think i learnt abit more about the car than if it was dry.

Plus I was amazed at how grippy the track was, even in the down pour.

Maybe they had some translation problem with most french car doing that? The spide indicated left and waved me past on the right at druids.

Ado, yeh i remember - I got straight out, had about 4 laps without seeing anyone else

I didn't have esp on all day - just made the car difficult to control, it'd judder and squirm all the time, without it the car seemed to grip better and I could play with it a bit more...

There was some speculation that the translator mixed up left and right in the briefing! Hence the French being a bit erratic on track...
