some professional advice.

Car  Renault Clio 1.2
right, shortly i will be fitting some 16" alloys to my mk2 ph1, at the same time im hoping to get it lowered a bit. With two options, 35mm or 55mm. I know my wheels wont go any closer to the arches because they will just be lower profile, but will 55mm be too low for 16" alloys.

Has anyone got any picsof their car, doesnt have to be on 16s, just state what ur on and how low you are.

cheers ollie

My old Clio, down 60mm on 16's. Rubbed at the rear with 205's fitted but spacers sorted that.

You keeping standard shocks? 60mm was harsh as I kept the standard shock absorbers on but it didn't bother me too much.

If you go down 55mm on standard then you will wear out your shocks faster.

ok, yeh looking to keep standard shocks, havent got alot of money. Will i notice any difference with 35mm.

Yeah you'll noticed but it wont be as obvious, obviously. :)

Some older pics so you can see how -60mm sits...
