Sony MEX BT 2500

Iv got a sony MEX bt 2500 head unit and want to fit a sub bt its got no pre-outs at the back, is there a way to get a round this or do i hav to get a new h/u

I had that headunit mate. I was really annoyed after i bought it and tried to fit my sub, only to realise it didnt have preouts.

You can buy a hi level input which will work but it wont sound very good.

What i done was sell my 2500 and buy a 2600 which had 3 pre outs.

Yep. it was pretty identical but it had pre outs. It did look a tiny bit different though.

iv got the 2600, refal pleased with it. Yes its got bt, best feature ever! I managed 2 get the hu, ipod adapter, bt adapter thing 4 mp3 players, all for 110 quid
