sony speakers

I ordered some sony speakers and the wrong ones arrived. The guy says I should be happy with the ones they sent because they are better, apparently they aren't made in china and have better materials. I'm not sure because the ones i ordered have better power rating.
They are happy to exchange them but i just wanted to know if they were trying to fool me or if they really are better.

The ones i orderered were:
Sony Xplod XS F1335 13cm 3 way 160W car speakers
160W peak power
40W rated power
Frequency response: 35Hz-26kHz

The ones i recieved were:
Sony Xplod XSF 1331 13cm 3 way 140W car speakers
140W peak power
25W rated power

you got crappier ones, i bet most people would just agree with him and not want the hassle of sending the speakers back.

also, i know you didnt ask for this but your gonna get it anyway lol, sony speakers are terrible. i bought a set of 5.25 xplods for my clio, they sounded, ide say, as good or a little worse than the standard ones.

sold them, bought some infinity 5000 series for about £10 more and they are literally 10x better in volume, sq and like a warm sound with slight bass.

the sonys sounded very very tinny, no bass, no volume, just very poor speakers.

oh right. I have some kenwood ones in the back and i'm happy with them. But i was looking for some which had a power rating of about 40W and the sony ones sounded good. and the frequency range was quite big if thats anything to go by?

anything above 20kHz is pointless (unless your dog isn't happy with the music lol)

I'd send them back tbh & get another make, i've had sony speakers in the past & found them to be crap tbh.
