Hey guys!

Went out for a test drive yesterday and it was great! The dealer told me id have to wait till beginning of october to get one but i couldnt wait that long so when i came home i phoned around a load of dealers.

Luckily i found an arctic blue cupped 182 in MK (near where i used to live) down in cornwall now so its a bit of a trek! Oh well it should be worth it, im jus so happy that ive found a brand new unregistered car that i can have straight away! Apparently its the only arctic blue available in the country at this moment!. Should be picking it up at the weekend all going well :D

Any advice on taking delivery of it and what to check would be great, cheers people.

I have to wait until Sept/October aswell.

I wanted a Renault ID colour tho, so i didnt really have much choice. Make sure you have a good look around the car for marks, scratches etc.

Check that your mats are included, aswell as mat grips, and tyre foam sealant stuff.

Cant think of anything else, apart from ragging it home :D

Thanks phunkey_monkeh (cool name btw haha) I love the yellow, couldnt make my mind up about colours for a while...wanted arctic blue first then changed to racing, then thought about the yellow and now im back to arctic lol.

Cocopops ive looked at your car pics mate and thats what persuaded me to go for the arctic blue! PS, its got cup sus and spoilers :) and a CD changer that i dont really want lol.

If its any interest to anyone theres a black un registered 182 with cup packs at exeter...they said theyll do it for 14k (got 9 miles on the clock and available in a week or so)

Lol at CD Changer!

I took the changer out of my 172 to put into the 182, but need the cable, which is £80 on its on from Renault!!

Agreed.
14k seems a bit expensive. Im paying £13.5k , and that includes cup spoiler and suspension. And an extra £1150 for a renault ID colour.

Im not disagreeing, but 14k is still £1500 cheaper than "list price" so its still a saving.

This coming from someone that paid £10,800 OTR for my UK Arctic Blue 182 with both cup packs!! hehe

Cocopops....looks like you got a bloody good deal!

Im paying £14,000 for the arctic blue one and although its not the best deal ever i am happy with it. The dealers in cornwall wouldnt budge below £14k so basically i get the car straight away and save 2months worth of depreciation on my current car :D The fact that im not gonna have to wait ages and will have the car for the summer is worth £500 alone to me! And at the end of the day its still a hell of a car for the money....cant wait to drive it!!

exactly Gary, like you said, its £1500 below list, you dont loose money on ya p/ex whilst waiting, and you get it for the summer. PARTY ON!!! hehe

Lee.

ps. I got mine on Renaults "Friends and Family" discount as did a few others, and got 30% off if it was ordered in May.
