hi, i currently and have always been a ford man and own a escort rs turbo,

im looking at getting a clio182 05 very soon.

QUESTION ABOUT THE EXHAUST SYSTEMS.


which is a good make that everyone uses to uprate. CAT-BACK MAYBE???

If the escort is any kind of modded you'll find the 182 abit boring and not that fast. I've got a 182 now and did have a Mint Slightly modded Fiesta RS Turbo a while ago... the 182 is just no fun in comparison, and the turbo noise/exhaust is just miles better on the RST. (my 182 is standard though) Obviously you dont need to worry about rust etc on the 182.. doesnt mean it'll be more reliable though as people seem to have alot of problem on here.

The way I see it - the clios have a lot of small niggly things going wrong, mainly due to poor build quality, but the engines dont go wrong much if they are looked after.

Its relative. Both my clios have been solid, if you check them out properly when you buy one a 182 should be fine.
