Just spent 6 hours doing my car, finally got some more wax on and the arches sorted. Have to say the amount of crap that came off was horrendous! The new Karcher came in very handy though - still got to get the AB foam lance though.

Now I am freezing and will probably rain later but pleased its done as I have been putting it off for ages. Job done!

Thats what I am thinking now. TBH of that was "advising" my dad as he started to wash his car, so was telling him that smearing a dirty mitt over his 55 plate Boxster S wasn't a great idea. Then had to tell him not to clean his wheels with the bucket I was using to clean my paint, and then he started to clean the front door with a virtually new lambswool mitt when there are hundreds of old sponges around!

Cleaned mine on x-mas day. Had about 250 miles worth of winter dirt on her. Suprising what came of the sills and underneath.

Done mine, with a quick once over the arches but was too damp to wax or anything.
wait til i go bk to work i think and stick it in the heated bay and do it.

Yep probably was a waste of time looks wise but was actually quite tricky to clean up today especiallt the wheels. Does anyone know if they are adding semen to road salt these days as it was very sticky and didn't smell very good?!?
