SORN the clio! anything I need to do ?

I am days away from taking my 172 off the road for a month or so, funds are tough so its time to save and give the RS a rest

is there anything I need to do within that month to stop the battery going flat, or anything else I should be doing to keep it at its best for a month or 2?

You're still going to be insuring it. You'll save 20quid on tax.

I cant cancel my insurance and wont be using it like that so thought it would be best really!

Well then just keep it with tax on.

It means you can park it on the road and if you do need a car for some reason, then you're legal and ready to go.

my tax is up end of this month so thought as I am not using it why not SORN it

also is it easy and quick to tax a car when its on SORN? never done this before

LOL more hassle than it's worth just for a month, it'll probably take a month for it to be declared off road and then another to get it back on knowing how slow it all is!

The tax has come at a bad time I have the SORN letter already

To tax is again I take it i just go online and fill in the reminder bit yeah ?

To tax it again just use the VC5 number on your logbook ...

Waste of time IMO too.

Still, get the SORN in the post today .. end of the month... otherwise you'll pay for next months one anyway and it will be a massive ball-ache for absolutly nothing !
